GLM is responsible for the logistics and installation of Shell Helix's stunning life size "Crystal Car" and it's larger scale "Crystal Engine".

The car was built to help promote Shell Helix's active cleaning technology by illustrating how the lubricant moves around the car's engine and to allow consumers to see right inside the working parts of a car.



Weighing some 2,000 kilos and made from perspex the car sits in its own display case and has been used around the world by Shell's partners in trade and consumer marketing campaigns.

GLM's specialist staff arrange the importation by air freight, the ground transportation and set up of these fantastic but delicate marketing tools.

So far the car has been displayed at Shell Helix events in Prague and Moscow and will soon be at the Indonesia Motor Show whilst the engine has been demonstrated in London and Brazil.

Further events are planned and GLM will be the logistics partner for the programmes.
