24 Jul Dynisma Completes DMG-1 Installation for McLaren Hypercar Team

Dynisma Ltd.® has signed an agreement to supply its world-leading motion simulation technology to McLaren Hypercar Team for use in the development of its FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) Hypercar programme.
The team is now benefitting from the proven performance of Dynisma’s DMG-1 simulator, combining ultra-low latency, exceptional motion fidelity and industry-leading bandwidth to create one of the most realistic Driver-in-the-Loop simulation environments available. The system supports vehicle development, driver preparation and engineering evaluation as the team progresses towards its FIA WEC Hypercar debut next year.
The DMG-1 system has been installed at the McLaren Technology Centre, where it is supporting the team’s ongoing development activities ahead of its entry into the FIA World Endurance Championship Hypercar category in 2027.
McLaren Hypercar Team is preparing to enter the FIA World Endurance Championship Hypercar category in 2027 with the McLaren MCL-HY programme. The programme marks McLaren’s return to the top class of endurance racing and a renewed pursuit of overall honours at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The correlation delivered by the system will provide valuable confidence in the work that the team will do in testing and racing.”
