Hard Anodising Surface Treatments Ltd has been granted authorisation to continue using chromium trioxide for the next 12 years, making it one of only a select few companies in the UK to receive this approval.
This enables Hard Anodising Surface Treatments to continue providing chromium trioxide-based surface treatments for engineering components—particularly within the aerospace and defence sectors—to achieve critical performance characteristics through:
• Chromic acid anodising
• Chromate conversion coating
• Passivation of metals
• Sealing after anodising
This authorisation is valid until 19th February 2037, ensuring long-term consistency and compliance for customers’ high-specification needs.
