Legendary motorsport and automotive engineering company Prodrive has become the latest organisation to benefit from Safety Rocks’ NEBOSH Verified Essential Risk Management in Motorsport course.
Prodrive approached Safety Rocks after recognising that generic, off the shelf safety training was no longer suitable for a business operating in high risk, high performance environments. They requested a fully tailored programme built around the realities of motorsport and advanced engineering.
The company operates at the sharp end of innovation, having recently helped JCB to achieve an FIA World Land Speed Record with its hydrogen-powered JCB Hydromax car. Prodrive also competes at the highest levels of global motorsport in the World Endurance and the World Rally Raid championships, with multiple titles including the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Dakar Rally.
All nine Prodrive delegates who completed the course – delivered by Safety Rocks Founder Carla Crocombe – rated it extremely highly, with every participant saying they would recommend Safety Rocks programmes to colleagues.
There was high praise for the course, particularly its relevance to motorsport scenarios and the practical confidence it inspired in creating and categorising risk assessments.
