07 Sep R50 Marketing Partners With WiRE – Women in Race Engineering
MIA member, R50 Motorsport Marketing, have shared the following news:
R50, have partnered with WiRE (Women in Race Engineering) to raise awareness, and to support the project and its growth going forward.
Frequently, talented engineering students leave university after developing valuable technical knowledge and skills, but very little real-world motorsport experience. This can prove challenging when breaking into the motorsport industry.
WiRE has been created to help change that by providing hands-on opportunities, industry exposure, and valuable connections that can help aspiring female engineers take their first steps into motorsport. By creating pathways into the industry, WiRE aims to support the next generation of female race engineers and technical professionals while helping motorsport become more diverse and inclusive.

R50 commented “We’re delighted to be supporting WiRE (Women in Race Engineering), an exciting initiative founded by Richard and Charlotte that’s on a mission to create more opportunities for women looking to build careers in motorsport. It’s a fantastic project with a lot of potential, and we can’t wait to see where the journey takes them.”
As part of this partnership, R50 is currently building the new WiRE website, giving them a professional platform to showcase their mission, connect with supporters, and reach aspiring engineers across the UK and beyond.
